We are official!

I came home from our weekend trip to find that the State of Maryland had sent us our certificate of incorporation. Dreamwidth Studios, LLC is now officially in business!

One of the hardest parts of this right now is that it's really hard to maintain motivation. We've had to keep the project hush-hush, and nobody even knows that this staging-environment installation exists. We're all working on this part-time, and we all have different available hours, so it's easy to set aside the tasks we have to complete in order to keep this on schedule.

I just keep reminding myself about how fucking awesome this is going to be when we get it closer to launch. There's so much we have to do, but we have our project plan and we have our vision -- and we have some really encouraging numbers. I just keep telling myself: we will have a community of enthusiastic people soon.

Not soon enough, though. I'm really looking forward to being able to tell people about this...
