In a coincidence which entirely amuses me, OSCON is scheduled for the other weekend this summer when I have a cabin reservation. I am taking C. to a fire lookout tower way out in the national forest for three days for our anniversary (I figure we need at least one weekend a year with nothing that beeps....)

I don't know when I'll be in Oregon, is the thing. School gets out mid-May, and my internship will probably start sometime between July 1-August 1 (possibly even as early as June). The time in between school and internship I'll be home. Looking up OSCON, it's late July. I'll probably be back on the East coast by then. (Or Alabama, Nebraska, or Florida. Depending on which site I get.)
