May 18-20? They're running a Tuesday through Thursday conference?

(p.s. That's not necessarily a complaint on my part, since we have a prepaid reservation in for a beach cabin the weekend of the 21-23. I'm just surprised that they'd run a conference midweek.)

Well, I have no events for you to speak at, but I live an hour and a half south of Portland and will be home by then. If you happen to be driving through the mid-Willamette Valley, you're welcome to swing by.

In a coincidence which entirely amuses me, OSCON is scheduled for the other weekend this summer when I have a cabin reservation. I am taking C. to a fire lookout tower way out in the national forest for three days for our anniversary (I figure we need at least one weekend a year with nothing that beeps....)

I don't know when I'll be in Oregon, is the thing. School gets out mid-May, and my internship will probably start sometime between July 1-August 1 (possibly even as early as June). The time in between school and internship I'll be home. Looking up OSCON, it's late July. I'll probably be back on the East coast by then. (Or Alabama, Nebraska, or Florida. Depending on which site I get.)

I would come to a meetup. Perhaps we should plan it in [community profile] camberville?

:( indeed.

I would still come to a user meetup on that date, though, or one timed for the 1-year anniversary of open beta.

It appears that you will not only be in my town, but that you'll be in the building where I work.

Awesome!

Er, no. Cambridge. but I won't actually be in the building when you are there.

FYI, if you have trouble navigating stairs, be aware that there are no bathrooms on the main floor of the Science Center, and you have to check with the security guard to use the elevators on the weekend.

If people want to throw a party, I will attend. If it's that sort of party, I may even bring baked goods.

I'd been wanting to visit SF sometime in May... if you think you'll have free time maybe hanging out can happen! I'd probably be down for a party too, if that happens.
