Yay!
I've just received an email accepting my proposal for the 2011 linux.conf.au, which makes me happy beyond belief -- I had a blast last year, and I was really hoping I'd get the proposal accepted this year so I could attend again.

BTW, there's only two nonstops from LAX to BNE -- none from SFO -- on V Australia, which is the Virgin brand, and Qantas. Beware that V Australia's seats are narrower, but are likely to have more fun in-flight entertainment. Your other options are connecting through Sydney.

In case you want to come to Germany, by the way: http://events.ccc.de/2010/07/30/27c3-we-come-in-peace-call-for-participation/ :) (don't be put off by their focus, they also accept other topics :))

Is there any likelihood you will post what is possible to post of the content of your tutorial? Web accessibility has long been an interest of mine, and I'd be interested to update my knowledge. What I understand of the subject gets applied, as best I can manage, at www.tolkiensociety.org
