synecdochic post. (But also, that's really cool! Though it'd be even cooler if it could read your progress, perhaps via special knitting needles, and display the appropriate row/stitch/whathaveyou.)

Wii needles that recognize the wiggling around of knitting-in-progress!

They'd be bulky, though. Can one fit the circuitry into the cable of a circular without risking it breaking, one wonders? Or would it all have to go into the tips?

I'd imagine it must be possible, though maybe not easy or cheap.

Actually, it would be very cool to be able to say "I'll just get my Wii-dles out and do some knitting..."!
