Spam was at an epic low volume this week. I hope this is because spammers like to take the last week of the year off too, and not because it just hasn't been getting deleted.
Even spammers spend the holidays at home with their families...apparently spam does follow holidays/weekends to some extent, though you'd think a botnet should keep ticking over happily regardless.
Have I shared my mental image of spammers with you, the one that involves spammers looking like a cross between chickens and vultures, with large, messy, filthy nests on concrete outcroppings? Because now I have a mental image of a broody spammer hen sitting on her nest, and someone has Photoshopped a santa hat on her head, and the little spammer chicks are poking their heads out and cheeping.
