*sends lots and lots of less-than-threes your way*
(ftr, this sidescrolls for me -- username/password boxes, login box, search box and dropdown, all are too far to the right; the white stays browser-width, so when I scroll right there's red, which makes it a bit unreadable. it's fine if I have browser maximized, but not at my standard windowed size. but as I said, might just be me.)
Gorgeous and sexy and CAN I PLAY HERE YET PRETTY PLEASE WITH SUGAR?
It even works when I use my "make this readable by stripping all CSS and JavaScript and other fancy stuff" script which is double cool and bodes VERY well for screen reader users.
Small thing: The vertical alignment of the spirals versus the text in the menu items varies wildly when the font size is changed.
* under 'Organize', 'Manage Relationships' linebreaks for me at the resolution/textsize I'm at * need a *tidge* more room between the swirls/menu items * Add inbox count to header if there are messages in inbox * Add userpic count to Create/Upload Userpics * Add "Invite a friend" link to top header
-i like the swirls. -the lack of comment delineation is distracting. -the userpic(just for you!)/name/date lineup is all wonky (and the same on the allpics page). -i actually kind of like the big box around the last/mem/send/next buttons, but i'm not sure why. -i like the white space on both sides. -yeah, seriously, why is so much stuff bottom-aligned? -there's still the lj pencil next to the dreamwidth user radio button when commenting. -the entry subject text is too small.
- Bit more contrast between the swirls in menu and the text? - padding around the user icon - the text looks squished against it - something for comment headers
I have a resolution somewhere between 600 and 800 px (I'm on an OLPC ... I tried to find the real stat on the Internet, but the OLPC wiki kept crashing my browser and wikipedia was ... ambiguous). I have a very large sidescroll, more than I have on LJ. I think it's entirely made up of the right border. Also, no padding or border on the the left margin.
the pink's not bad, although I would double-check the contrast on the pull-down menu and hover links for accessibility. Personally, I find that the easiest, guaranteed contrast way to go is to invert colors for active/hover links.

* Comment headers should be visually distinct -- some accent color to visually separate them, etc
