My notifications are working again! Thanks,
janine. :)
Mark and Janine will be here in like 12 hours! And neither of them have slept yet, and they have to leave for the airport in another hour and a half. I sense there is much Red Bull in Mark's future.
Tomorrow: testing the payment system and the last bits of cleanup. ONE OPEN-BETA-BLOCKING BUG LEFT (and if it doesn't get done exactly by OB, it's okay; it's the stats bug, and the stats are being collected, just not processed & served.
Then, Thursday, and the eight thousand things on the launch checklist we've been building. I actually remain eerily calm about this.

Now I just need to settle an argument with myself over whether to get the paid or premium paid. Paid will probably win, since I don't collect icons and half the time don't bother to use a non-default, but...hey, which is better on your end?

But if you're only going to use the features of a paid account, and money's tight, really, just buy the paid account. I'd hate to see someone paying us money they can't afford for services they don't need, you know?

Is there any difference in post-length capabilities between paid and premium paid? (Although I'll probably go premium paid, anyway, just 'cause I want to support y'all.)
I only have three stories that needed multiple posts, but I'm looking forward to it. I think I remember the comment-limit is 16,000 characters, but what is the character-limit for a post?

Posts are 300,000 bytes or 450,000 characters, IIRC.
