Hey, this looks good. 19 blocking OpenBeta with no patch is a pretty good place to be at.

Hey now -- every day I wake up and fewer things are broken. You're successfully countering the forces of entropy. This is good. ;>

I get the fact that it's the Blocking Open Beta number that's giving you fits, but that All Resolved number is pretty damn impressive.

And hey, I normally wouldn't ask this here in your journal, but it's about the style of your comments page. I'm wondering if there's a setting somewhere like there is on LJ that will make all comment pages show in this style. It's so much cleaner and easier to read than the ones for Negatives and Zesty. And if there's a better person to ask this, please let me know.

You know what? I went poking around again after I left my comment, and I figured it out. It's pretty much the same as on LJ now, but it's been so long since I changed those settings over there, I had forgotten. I can't even tell you how much I'm looking forward to being able to do it more easily. :D

Seriously! And, plus, y'all are open about the fact that things aren't working and are taking steps to fix everything. Your openness and honesty about everything = integrity in a big way and that means way more to me than everything working perfectly all the time.

Whoa! I am so thrilled to have been given an invite code. I have been excited about Dw from the first moment I heard/read you mention it. I really wish that I had some useful skills to offer because I am seriously invested in your project (although I *will* be investing when I can buy in) =) Thank you!!

INVITED! Thank you, Random-o-tron!

Now um. For the life of me I can't remember what the appropriate community for this is, so here: is it my fault that the back button reloads the page and loses comments/posts in their unsubmitted state?

Thank you so much for the invite! I do have a question, though, and I haven't found a comm where it would be appropriate to ask: is there any way to transfer the reading list from the Open ID? If not, is there any way to view who's on that reading list so I can add them to my account? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

If you log in to your Open ID profile page and copy the url, then log in to your regular account and use the url to pull up the profile page for your Open ID account, you'll be able to click the individual links to everyone you're reading and add them that way.

Not sure if there's another way to directly duplicate your reading list or not.

Finally found an appropriate thread in which to thank you for the invite. Am loving so many features - multiple icon import, LJ import to name but two *g*

Thank you for the invite, and for the hard work you and everyone else here is doing!
I liked the place already in my openID account phase and I was definitely planning for a paid account; it was a very pleasant surprise getting home and finding out I can start decorating the bedroom even before signing the lease *grin*.

I was just wondering if the option to flock/private-lock all entries posted in the journal so far would be available on DW. [Because I am a dumbass and didn't change the privacy setting before importing all my LJ posts.]

Unless I am hallucinating and there totally never was such a feature on LJ. =/
elaran: signpost of fate (teal'c & vala)

I was going through my entries from the very first and private locking them. I had 1450 to go.

[personal profile] elaran 2009-04-20 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
So I think you're awesome anyway because you write fantastic fic, you're making DW and the few personal posts of yours that I've read make me go whoa, I hope I have that much strength to deal with anything that is thrown my way in life - not necessarily in that order.

But um yes, I platonically[?sp] love and adore you right now. Just FYI.

I should be sensible and go to bed now. Yep. Now. Aaaanytime now.

Yeah, I was hoping that was the case. :D

Unrelated to entry: I couldn't find mention of this in Bugzilla, so feel free to tell me it's already covered, but anyway. I forward-dated an entry for 2012, marking it as Date Out Of Order, and that went fine. I just tried to make another entry, this time with the current date/time, and got this error message:

Error updating journal: Incorrect time value: You have an entry which was posted at 2012-01-13 13:44, but you're trying to post an entry before this. Please check the date and time of both entries. If the other entry is set in the future on purpose, edit that entry to use the "Date Out of Order" option. Otherwise, use the "Date Out of Order" option for this entry instead.

I checked to see if it was user error, but the out-of-order entry is indeed correctly marked as being out of order. It's a lovely, comprehensible error message, but I shouldn't be getting it. :(

I eventually changed the date on the forward-dated entry and was then able to post the regular entry, but yeah. Very weird.
